Jodit (Free Edition) has been 100% open-source (MIT) since its inception and will continue to be. Developers can ensure Jodit is the right choice for their applications. The Jodit team regularly releases new versions, fixes bugs, and welcomes community pull requests.

Given time and resource constraints, as well as the desire to keep innovating, we occasionally need to shift focus to newer versions of the editor (our release schedule), while ensuring the transition to newer versions is as smooth as possible. The open-source community is always welcome to submit new features and bug fixes.

If you want the flexibility of open-source and the confidence of commercial-grade software, this is worth considering.

PRO Issue Tracker

Only for OEM/MULTI-PRO/PRO users

Our issue tracker is dedicated solely to tracking bugs and feature requests. If you believe you've discovered a bug or have a new feature idea, please first verify that it hasn't already been reported or fixed. You can search through our existing issues to see if someone has already reported a similar issue.

New Issue Guidelines:

• Please begin the title with '[Title Problem]' where appropriate, and use a succinct description that helps others find similar issues.
  • "doesn't work" ❌
  • "[Button] Add support for " ✅
• Please don't group multiple topics in one issue – each should have its own issue instead.
• Please don't comment "+1" on an issue. It spams the maintainers and doesn't help move the issue forward.

Custom work 🛠

We'd be happy to customize Jodit to fit your unique needs. Please share a summary of your requirements and we'll do our best to assist you. Depending on the complexity of your request, we might:

• Provide a rough estimate of the time and cost involved
• Suggest alternative solutions that might not require Jodit PRO
• Regrettably decline the request if it's not feasible due to timing or relevance constraints

Please note that we only consider projects directly related to Jodit. We do not accept general React development work. Our hourly rate is $60, and our daily rate is $600.
